Our Valentine's Day was quite interesting!

See that? The wind has been really terrible lately, and today it blew a tree over onto the power line! Then the tree snapped in half! So half of it was leaning on the power line, and the other half was barely hanging on, dangling over street ready to crush anything that was under it.

So, of course, we were out of power. I was right in the middle of making my post when it went out. Which is why I'm posting it this late.

There were lights flashing from about 5:45 until 8:00 trying to get the power line fixed so our street could get power again.

But all's fixed now! :)

My 13th Birthday!!

Today is my 13th birthday! :D

Today at school I got a pleasant surprise! I was in the classroom when a friend of mine came and got me and said there was something for me. I came to find a lady holding this...

When she gave it to me, she said, "Happy 13th birthday!"
Everybody was telling me to open the card and one of my friends shouted, "Wait! Don't touch it! It's a bomb!" We all laughed and they went back to what they were doing.
Turns out it was from my ever-so-sweet aunt Vickie! :) The one that paid for most of my party, still gave me 10$, AND sent me these flowers! As I said: Ever-so-sweet! :)

At my skating party yesterday I had a BLAST!!!! :D It was so much fun! I'll definitely have to show you some pictures of everything! :)

Almost My Birthday!

I'm SUPER excited! :D My 13th birthday is coming up! It's February 7th so it will two weeks and two days, but to be exact....




It's going to be the best day ever! I'm having a birthday party at the roller skating rink! And I wouldn't have been able to do it if it weren't for my aunt chipping in. :) I'm so blessed! :) I can't wait! :)
