Snowmen Joke

Two snowmen were in the front yard. They could see their makers through the window watching the weather. "It's supposed to get up to 56 degrees this afternoon, then drop down to 27 degrees overnight." the weather man said. The first snowman becomes alarmed. He says to the other snowman, "What if we shall melt?". The other snowman says, "Well, at least I won't have to worry about dieting!"

Who thinks of Home Alone 2 when they hear that song? I do!!! :) Every time I hear it I think of Home Alone because it was in the movie! :)

I watched it over and over when I was little! :)

Paper Snowflakes

Last Saturday, I made a bunch of paper snowflakes (a few of them were Mom's and Dad's) and then I hung them up on a thin rope. Then I put it behind the Christmas tree. Pretty right? :)

Today, a very nice lady from my church wanted to take me shopping and get my hair done. We went to a hair salon. It was my first time at a hair salon. My grandma usually cuts it because she used to work as a hair stylist. But, anyway, the lady chopped off this much of my hair!

I'm glad too! It was like a jungle up there! It used to be really long and straight, but after she cut, washed, and curled my hair, I'm proud to say I look like this...

Isn't it just pretty?

Christmas Ornaments

Today we decorated the tree after we got home from church. Isn't the tree just pretty?

Here are a few of my favorite ornaments...

I got this 'Katie' snowman ornament at the Natural Bridge gift shop on my field trip. :)

Putting Up The Christmas Tree

Tonight we decided to put the Christmas Tree up. :) My parents got this tree for their second Christmas after they were married, so it's been around for almost twenty years. So it's been around all my life. :)

This is a picture of it half-way done...

Now this is the Tree complete...

And with the lights on the Tree...

Then we added the Angel on top...

Tomorrow we're going to put the ornaments on it. I'll show you a picture of the finished and ornamented tree tomorrow. :)
