It's been getting warmer here, and Lilly doesn't like that. She loves the cold and gets hot real easily. She was outside the other day, and when I brought her in, well, this is what she looked like...
Yesterday I got a few Easter gifts. Some candy, gum, pencils, chocolate, shower gel, a jump rope, a wind catcher, nail polish, nail stickers, and a card. They're awesome!
Lilly was jealous! But, I did get her something.
So, yesterday this is what we did. I had to take pictures! Check them out!
This is the "Bell House". The old Victorian home that was the summer home of Alexander Graham Bell.
See the seagull on top of the pole?!
Look at the little duckies! Awww!
Trust me, my hair doesn't look that bad! The wind was blowing it.
People fishing on the pier
Some kids playing in the sand.
It was pretty fun. And, yes, Mom and I LOVE to take pictures.
Happy Easter! Today is the day , years ago, that Jesus rose from the grave. Good Friday is a sad day, but the best part is that a few days later he arose! That is just amazing to me!
Usually when people think of Easter, they think of bunnies and eggs, and that's not a bad thing. We just have to remember what the holiday represents.
Here are a few pictures I found about Easter that I thought were cute.
Today is Good Friday, the day Jesus was crucified years ago. I asked my dad why they call it "Good Friday" because it was bad that Jesus was beaten and killed. I said they should call it "Bad Friday". Dad said they call it "Good Friday" because something good happened, we were saved from our sins.
Matthew 7:50-51 "And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split." (NIV)
We all should take a moment to realize what Good Friday is all about. Jesus died. He paid the price for our sins so we didn't have to. Jesus really does love us. We should be able to figure that out by now.
