Good Friday

Today is Good Friday, the day Jesus was crucified years ago. I asked my dad why they call it "Good Friday" because it was bad that Jesus was beaten and killed. I said they should call it "Bad Friday".
Dad said they call it "Good Friday" because something good happened, we were saved from our sins.

Matthew 7:50-51 "And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split." (NIV)

We all should take a moment to realize what Good Friday is all about. Jesus died. He paid the price for our sins so we didn't have to. Jesus really does love us. We should be able to figure that out by now.

Spring has Sprung!

Spring is here! And it's bringing its blossoms and pollen with it! I love springtime! Though I am extremely allergic to pollen, I still love spring. I love spring because of all the daffodils and all the other flowers everywhere! Daffodils are one of my favorite flowers. They are so cute, and smell really good. Dad picked some the other day, put them in a vase, and put them on the dining room table. So now every time we eat or I'm doing school work at the table, it smells all daffodilly.Here is a picture of the daffodils in our front yard.
